Why is this vital?

Continuity in homeschooling requires good communication between parent, child and teacher. Such communication shows what parents and elders need to focus on at home when helping a learner with homework, revision and, most importantly, capturing the child's daily school life between school and home. That requires follow-up and knowing how to communicate with the child. But parents often do not have enough time to communicate with the teacher and monitor the child effectively. Pedagogical follow-up is to obtain those indicators that illustrate the points to be improved on or to detect the difficulties of social and environmental integration that their child encounters daily at school.

How does it work?

For each child, we set up a team specifically dedicated to monitoring the child. This team works in close collaboration with the child and the teacher, in order to draw up a fortnightly report on the educational and environmental difficulties encountered by the child at school. The aim is to anticipate the various sources of difficulties that could lead to the child’s failure at school. 

 

Parent and child diagnostic interview.

This step allows the assessment of the alliance and the degree of cooperation between the parent and the child.

Step 1

Child learning profile test

This step allows us to evaluate the child in order to know the teaching method to be used to enable him/her to assimilate a notion well

Step 2

Creation of the child follow-up file

This step consists in creating the file and the pedagogical follow-up sheets according to the class and the school level of the child.

Step 3

Interview with the teacher and setting up the programme

This stage involves working with the teacher to produce a fortnightly report to the parent based on monitoring and the observations child.
